New and old replacement: Today's current A4L is discontinued/new A4L is offline
On July 22, 2016, local time in Beijing, the current Audi A4L (B8) of FAW Volkswagen was officially discontinued, and today the new generation Audi A4L (B9) was officially produced at FAW's Changchun factory.
As an Audi model, the Audi A4 has a long history of 37 years. The Audi A4 (B8) made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2007, and its new design and production platform immediately attracted attention upon its launch. On November 16, 2008, the domestically produced Audi A4L was officially released. This car is the extended wheelbase version of the Audi A4 and a luxury mid size car with an extended wheelbase at that time, and is only sold in the Chinese market. As of now, the Audi A4L (B8) has undergone two facelifts, with a production capacity of 714687 units.
At the same time, we have learned about the availability and discounts of the current Audi A4L through dealers in four cities across the country. Although the current Audi A4L is officially discontinued today, there are still existing car sales in the four major cities across the country. Among them, the Shanghai dealer stated that the inventory is relatively sufficient and can basically guarantee sales in August, but there are fewer entry-level 30TFSI models and top of the line 45TFSI quattro models available.
