Both the 2000 km high-speed test of Chang'an autonomous vehicle in April and the Roewe RX5, a "global mass production Internet vehicle" jointly released by SAIC and Alibaba Group in June, have won wide attention from both inside and outside the industry. After analyzing the autonomous driving technology of domestic domestic car companies, Gaishi Automobile found that there are currently ten manufacturers involved in this field. Among them, FAW Group, SAIC Group, Changan Automobile, BAIC Group, and Great Wall Motors have already demonstrated their experimental models equipped with primary autonomous driving technology. In the first half of 2016, GAC Group, Dongfeng Motor, Geely Automobile, BYD Automobile, and Lifan Automobile also announced that they would complete autonomous driving prototype tests in the next 5-10 years.
